This is a dream that I saw several years back. It was regarding a great persecution rising against all Christians in India; it was not against any one denomination as such, but against all Christians in general. In the dream, I was running around telling all Christians to unite; this was no time for denominational rivalry, we must get together and stand united for Jesus Christ. Though I seemed to be shouting this out over and over, not many seemed to be concerned. The dream ended there.
There has been a manifold increase in persecution against Christians in India and all over the world in the past few years. Vandalism against Christian buildings and physical and mental persecutions abound in many countries. According to Open Doors, USA, extreme Christian persecution prevails in at least 10 countries and very high persecution in 20 countries and India falls in the second group.
United prayer and intercession are so very vital for God to intervene on behalf of the persecuted. Will Christians unite? May the Lord help.
Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. (1 Timothy 2:2)
